Report: PG Decides

GoPowercat.com, the Alliance Kansas State site, is reporting this afternoon that Dez Willingham, a 5-11, 168-pound point guard from DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Texas, has committed to Kansas State.
Willingham is a player RivalsHoops.com saw play several times this spring, including at the at the Southern Invitational in Charlottesville, Virginia. Willingham ran a smart floor game and possesses good vision in finding his open teammates.

It was only a couple of months ago that Willingham tried to make a verbal commitment to Tennessee. But the Volunteers had already taken another commitment for Willingham's position. So Kansas State does an excellent job in picking up a very valuable player early in the 2003 recruiting campaign.
Mississippi State, Connecticut, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado were all considered. Willingham visited Kansas State on May 17th.
