Reggie Golson Is An Effective Shooter
Reggie Golson, a lanky 6-7, 190 pound small forward from Hutchinson C.C. in Hutchinson, Kan., displayed a very versatile game at the recent Jayhawk Shootout in Coffeyville, Kan.
Golson is a very effective jump shooter from midrange, and displayed the ability to go off the dribble throughout the weekend. He can handle the ball adequately, recovers well on his leap but is not a particularly strong finisher (lack of strength) or three point shooter.

Golson's older brother Marcus attends Missouri-Kansas City. According to Hutch Head Coach Chad Wintz, the Kangaroos are also in the picture with Reggie. Other programs involved include Long Beach State, Minnesota, Old Dominion and Indiana State.
A native of Kansas City, Kan., Golson averaged 8.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game as a freshman last year at Hutch.
