Regan finds his fit

Skilled both on the court and in the classroom, Will Regan had a number of intriguing college options, but one program and school in the ACC brought everything together for the 6-foot-8, 220-pound center from Buffalo (N.Y.) The Nichols School.
Arizona State, Maryland, Providence and Stanford were on Regan's shortlist of schools, but they all fell short of what Virginia had to offer.

"All the schools on my list had great things to offer, but Virginia was the one school that brought everything together for me," said Regan. "They have a great business school. The basketball is great. I get along with the coaching staff. And they play in the ACC."
A blue collar player who can grind out points around the basket as well as knock down jump shots, Regan is a good fit for Coach Tony Bennett's motion offense which often inverts the post players with the perimeter players.
"I'm hardworking and versatile," commented Regan. "Coach Bennett feels that I will fit in great with what he wants to do, and that I'm an initial piece of what he wants to build at Virginia."
Regan is coming off a solid performance at the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp and will run with the Albany City Rocks in July.
He averaged 23.9 points and 13.8 rebounds per game during his junior season.
