Redondo Union opened a 15-point halftime lead and was never seriously threatened in the second half by a cold-shooting Memphis East squad. East shot just 25 percent from the floor and shot below 30 percent in its opening round loss on Thursday.
Brian Latham tallied 12 points, eight rebounds and four steals while teammate Marcus Hammond added 11 points in defeat for East.
