Kansas forward Robert Lewandowski verbally committed to Texas Tech on Wednesday night, according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
The 6-foot-9, 250-pound big man from Overland Park (Kansas) Blue Valley West High School visited the Big 12 school last weekend. He also considered Washington State and even considered taking his recruitment late into his senior year.
"Originally, my plan was to sign during the late signing period in the spring," Lewandowski told Jeff Walker of the Avalanche-Journal. "It's a relief, and I'm sure I made the right choice."
Lewandowski joins Texan Corbin Ray in Texas Tech's 2008 recruiting class.
