Meeks is not the only one traveling during his recruiting process. Several schools have made their way to Norcross, Ga., to watch him in action.
"Coaches from Colorado, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida State have been by my school over the last couple weeks,” he said. “Clemson was going to come but couldn’t because of the hurricane."
Meeks had a strong summer for a very good Georgia Stars 16-under team. got a very good look at him during the Nike Hoop Jamboree, where he displayed the ability to score points in a variety of ways. He has a strong basketball IQ and very good size and athleticism for the shooting guard position.
He is also developing his ability to handle the ball as a point guard and to defend the point guard position. Already a quality high major prospect, Meeks will be an elite prospect if he develops as a point guard.
