Razorbacks Announce Fifth Recruit

On Wednesday, Head Coach Nolan Richardsson received letters of intent from four players who had previously verbally committed to the SEC school. Signed letters arrived from Smackover, AR, guard Jonathon Modica, Springfield, IL, guard Andre Iguodala, as well as from power forwards Rashard Sullivan and Brandon Tobias both from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Thursday, Richardson announced his fifth recruit and third from Florida, Wenbos Mukubu from Miami Beach High School. The 6-5, 220 pound guard/forward averaged 22.8 points and 10.0 rebounds as a junior though he played in only eight games due to an injury.

"He just blows my mind," Richardson said. "He has exceptional athletic ability. He high jumps 7-2 and plans to high jump on the track team here. This is only his fourth year to play basketball, but we're happy to get him. He's a big guard, small forward type player and he's the most athletic of the group we've signed."
Mukubu, who has a 41-inch vertical jump, holds the Florida state high school high jump record at 7-1. He is also a standout prep defensive end and was being recruited in football by Florida, Florida State, Miami, Arkansas and North Carolina, but has said he will not play football in college.
Mukubu played with the Coast to Coast AAU program this summer.
