Rays Layup Propels Ravens over BABC for Title

BOSTON, MASS. -- Allan Ray hit a driving layup with 20.9 seconds remaining to give the New York Ravens a 116-115 victory over BABC in the BABC Invitational held on the campus of Boston University this weekend.
Ray (pictured right) drove the left side and used his frame to ward off one defender, and his shot sailed over Torin Francis' outstretched hands and then off the glass to give the Ravens the title.

Ray led the Ravens with 38 points, and he got plenty of help in the high scoring affair from teammates Curtis Stinson (22 points) and Francisco Garcia (18 points).
Francis, a highly sought after 6-9 post player from Tabor Academy in Marion, Mass., led BABC and all scorers with 41 points.
We will have more details on this game a bit later on this evening.
