Ray Nixon Decides

Ray Nixon, a 6-6 1/2 forward from Whitefish Bay High School in Wisconsin, gave a verbal commitment yesterday afternoon to the Badgers of Wisconsin.

Nixon, who did not play during the month of July due to an injury, told us he liked the idea of staying home and playing in the Big Ten Conference.

Both Nixon and his family confirmed the commitment. He had listed several other schools. Many of these schools probably would have offered Nixon if they had an opportunity to see him play this summer. However, due to his unavailability in the July evaluation period, most high level schools were taking a wait and see approach.
