Ramon Praises Coach Dixon

Combo guard Ronald Ramon of All Hallows Institute in Bronx, New York was down to three good options in Pittsburgh, Providence, and Rutgers. It was his faith in Coach Jamie Dixon to make him a better player that made him commit to the Panthers.
“Every school was a good option,” said the 6-foot, 185-pound Ramon. “It was really tough. Each school is in the Big East, but I had to look at the different situations and what I wanted. The difference was how I can relate to Coach Dixon. He was the same type of player as me, and I know he will be there for me and take my abilities to another level.”
Ramon joins shooting guard Keith Benjamin and junior college small forward John DeGroat as 2004 Pittsburgh commitments.
