Ramon Has Big East Interest

Two years ago, Ronald Ramon was being talked about in the New York City area as one of the best prospects in the 2004 class. Ramon, who has had a very successful career at All Hallows High School in New York City, is a smooth, 6-foot-2 guard who can score points.
Ramon has made progress in his individual game the past two years but for some reason doesn't garner the praise he once had. It's not that Ramon isn't a good player. He is. He is certainly worthy of being considered for the Rivals150. It's likely that this summer will determine how high a ranking Ramon will land.

"I want to work on my legs this summer," Ramon said. "I want to make them stronger. This helps in every part of your game when you do that."
Ramon is being highly recruited too right now. Schools in the Big East believe Ramon is a big-time player. "I just got back from a visit to Pittsburgh," Ramon said. "I was there on Monday and got back on Tuesday night. It was a cool visit."
Ramon told us he would like to take more visits when his school year starts in the Fall. "You can't take official visits now," he said. "It would be nice to see some more schools before I make a decision."
Ronald also stated he has other schools of interest. "I like Providence, Seton Hall, and Miami," he said. "I am going to play at the NIKE camp. I want to see what my options are after that camp."
Ramon said he was unsure of when he might make a decision. "I just want to see how I play in July and then see what options I have," he said. "I am open. I am keeping all my options open."
