Rakestraw living a dream
2007 shooting guard Nate Rakestraw has always dreamed of playing for his beloved Razorbacks. On Thursday, Rakestraw took a big step towards making his dream a reality.
"Arkansas offered yesterday, and I committed," Rakestraw told Rivals.com. "I've liked the Razorbacks all my life. It's like a dream to be able to play for them."

Rakestraw, 6-foot-4, 212-pounds and attending Har-ber High School in Springdale, Ark., recently visited Tennessee and has been considering Missouri State, Arkansas-Little Rock and Ole Miss as well.
Besides his offer from Arkansas, he also had an offer from Arkansas State.

An extremely sharp shooter with size, Rakestraw is skilled with the ball and plays an intelligent brand of basketball. His weakness is his foot speed, and he will have to improve in that area to defend and create a shot in the SEC.
