Raboin Looking To Prep In 03-04

Sean Raboin, a skilled 6-6, 193 pound small forward from Mexico H.S. in Mexico, Mo., is looking to spend a year in prep school in 2003-2004.
Raboin put up nice numbers as a senior at Mexico and is a full academic qualifier. However, he feels that an extra year of exposure that prep school could give him many more options at the Division I level.

Raboin officially visited Northwestern State in Louisiana, and has fielded interest from programs such as Louisiana State, Virginia Commonweatlh, Wichita State, Dayton and Miami (FL) this past winter.
At last weekend's Charlie Weber Philadelphia Easter Hoop Fest, Raboin played well on a loaded Ft. Sooy squad. What sets him apart from other players are his fine passing skills. He throws great outlet passes to fan the break and is an alert passer from the high post in halfcourt sets.
On top of his passing skills, Raboin moves well, can put the ball on the deck and does a lot of the little things (pick, screen) that don't show up in boxscores.
Raboin mentioned the New Hampton School in New Hampshire and IMG in Florida as possible destinations next fall.
In the classroom, Raboin said he carries a 3.45 GPA and scored a 23 on the ACT.
He plans on traveling this spring and summer with Verdell Jones' Ft. Sooy program. We will keep you posted on his situation, and if he picks a prep school, we'll let you know.
