ATLANTA, GA. -- Qyntel Woods, a highly skilled and quick 6-8 small forward from Memphis, Tenn., was clearly the top prospect at the 2001 Littlefield Hoop Dream Workout.

Woods averaged nearly 23 points per game as a freshman at Moberly Area C.C. last season.
But after a coaching change at the Missouri junior college, he opted to attend a junior college closer to home and will now enroll at Northeast Mississippi C.C. in Booneville, Miss.
Prior to picking a new junior college, Woods committed to Memphis earlier this spring.
Woods showed why he is considered by many as the top junior college prospect in the country on Wednesday at the Hoop Dream.
He has a deft handle, quick moves and excellent athleticism all in a long 6-8 package.
Many NBA teams are already aware of Woods' exploits, and there was some talk that he might mull a jump to the NBA Draft that was held last month.
But Woods decided to return to college, and appears headed to Memphis in the fall of 2002.
"Right now, I plan on going to Memphis for at least a year," Woods told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com. "I would only come out for the NBA Draft next year if I was a guaranteed top 10 pick."
JUCO Junction will have an in depth interview with Woods on the site soon, so stay tuned!
