Quezada Has High Interest

Manny Quezada, a high scoring 6-foot-1, 178-pound point guard from St. Albans H.S. in Washington, D.C., has a number of high Division programs evaluating him this summer.
Quezada is a resourceful floor general with a knack for making big shots. "I am interested in Dayton, St. Joseph's, Providence, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Delaware and Drexel," Manny said. "I don't have a leader but I want to sign early."

As a junior last year at St. Alban's, Quezada averaged 22 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals per contest. He said he carries a 3.0 GPA in the classroom and has scored a 1060 on the SAT.
Quezada has taken unofficial visits to both Virginia (not currently on his list) and St. Joe's. He's hoping to swing by Stanford to take a look at the Pac 10 school, but he has yet to apply to the academic powerhouse.
Quezada's busy summer with the CAS Warriors included pit stops at the Three Stripes Tournament in New Jersey, the Charlie Weber Tournament in Maryland, the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas and the Best of the Summer this week in California.
He is another in a line of players from the CAS Warriors AAU program to attend D.C.'s St. Albans. The Warriors' "Project Assist" helps place promising students and athletes in some of the nation's finest college preparatory high schools.
