Purvis set to announce Friday
On Friday the suspense in the Rodney Purvis recruitment will be over. The top 10 prospect out of Raleigh (N.C.) Upper Room Christian Academy will announce his college destination.
Coming off a visit to Connecticut this past weekend, Purvis, a 6-foot-3 combo guard, will chose between the Huskies, his hometown school N.C. State, Memphis and Ohio State.

Purvis is quite familiar with North Carolina State but has not visited Memphis nor Ohio State.
There is strong sentiment that North Carolina State will win out for Purvis. In fact, Purvis is scheduled for an unofficial visit to North Carolina State this weekend if he doesn't take the SAT on Saturday instead.
