Pursley fielding Big East interest

Lawrence Academy in Groton, Mass., is rolling along with a 15-2 record. Anchoring the middle for Lawrence Academy is 6-foot-8, 205-pound junior DeJuan Pursley from Solon, Ohio. Two Big East schools are in the forefront of his recruitment.
"I'm not sure yet about who I really like and exactly what schools I will visit," said Pursley, the No. 79 ranked prospect in the class of 2007. "I know I want to visit Pittsburgh, though. Coach Dixon visited with me this fall, and I would like to see the campus. I really don't know much about it.

"I've already seen Syracuse's campus. They have been recruiting me, and I received an offer from them last summer."
Pursley also noted that he is receiving mail from Michigan and St. John's.
Some schools are possibly holding back in their pursuit of Pursley because of academic concerns, but he is happy about the progress he is making in the classroom.
"I'm doing a lot better in school now," he said. "My last semester grades were all B's and C's. I've taken the practice SAT and will take the official SAT this spring."
