According to Indianapolis's Lawrence North legendary head coach Jack Keefer, Robinson, a 6-foot-9 forward, committed to the Boilermakers.

After an all Indiana class in 2007, which is the core of the success of the current Purdue team, Painter and his staff and loaded up in 2009 with in-state players. Robinson adds to all-Indiana commitment list joining D.J. Byrd and Kelsey Barlow.
Robinson, who averages under 10 points, four rebounds and a pair of blocks, is still far from scratching the surface, according the hoop mavens in Indiana. He also considered Illinois, Bradley and others.
