Pruitt Set To Announce Decision

Unless there is some type of last minute setback, Shaun Pruitt will announce his college intentions sometime on Tuesday. The 6-foot-8, 220-pound power forward from West Aurora High School in Aurora, IL., had hoped a decision would already have been made, but it has been too difficult of a decision for the Illinois native.

“It looks like Shaun will have a decision tomorrow (Tuesday),” Steve Pruitt, Shaun’s father said. “He played in a tournament this past weekend with his high school, so he was really focusing on that. Now that the tournament is complete, Shaun has been thinking about his decision, which will come tomorrow.

“I’ll send a press release to the Athletic Director at West Aurora High School when Shaun is ready for that information to be released,” he added. “Once the AD receives that information, I’ll send that same information out to three other media outlets.”

Rivals.com ranks Pruitt No. 66 on the Rivals150 list and the 19th best power forward in the class of 2004.
