Providence lands undersized, but athletic point guard

Back in early March, it looked like Kiwi Gardner was leaning heavily towards Providence. Then, Keno Davis was fired and Ed Cooley hired throwing his status into a state of flux.
As it turns out, Gardner is Providence bound anyway.
Although undersized at just 5-foot-7, the native of California's Bay Area is among the most explosive pound for pound athletes in the country.
Wild at times, he's a kid who plays with lots of energy and has what is best described as a high risk/high reward playing style.
Gardner's commitment was confirmed by several sources close to the situation including his prep school coach Bobby Bossman of Phoenix (Ariz.) Westwind Prep.
