Pro Talk Not Issue Now For CV

Blair Academy head coach Joe Mantegna told us that there is no discussion right now regarding the NBA and his player Charlie Villanueva, the highly sought after combo forward from Queens, New York.
Villanueva, who had a rock solid summer, can spray you with jumpers from beyond the three or hammer you with a thundering dunk in transition. He runs the floor well and is agile enough to play several positions on the college level.

"He is going to visit Illinois on September 27th," Mantegna told us. "Charlie will also visit Seton Hall on October 4th, and Villanova on October 25th. Then he is going to probably make a college decision. Our first goal is to get Charlie decided on a college. We don't discuss the NBA because it's not an issue right now. I don't know if it will become an issue. But right now we aren't addressing it."
Villanueva should have a big year at Blair. He is one of the obvious candidates for the McDonald's All American game.
