Princeton nabs Kansas City forward

As they tend to do after the July open period, commitments continue to roll in on Wednesday afternoon. This time, it's Sydney Johnson's Princeton program who strikes as they add Liberty (Mo.) High forward Denton Koon into the fold.
A versatile 6-foot-6 forward with good athleticism and a high revving motor, Koon caught Princeton's eye this summer thanks to his play with KC Pump 'N Run.

"Denton called today and he's very excited about going to Princeton," KC Pump coach L.J. Goolsby told Rivals.com. "He feels like it will be a great fit for him on and off the court."
Having had to play the four most of his career, Koon makes things happen on the glass, runs the floor and has emerged as a threat from the perimeter. Because of that, Princeton's staff feels he could play plenty of three for them down the road.
"From talking with the coaches they feel like he can play multiple positions for them," said Goolsby. "In their system they view him as a three man, but he has the size and athleticism to play the four."
