Prince Set to Announce

The No. 23 ranked player in the Rivals150 J.P.Prince is on the brink of announcing between Arizona and Vanderbilt. The 6-foot-5, 183-pound point guard from White Station High School in Memphis, Tenn., is planning to announce his decision at a press conference at his school at approximately 1:30 central time on Thursday.
“I will know by tomorrow or Thursday,” said Prince. “I am planning to have a press conference on Thursday, probably around 1:30.

“I’m still kind of struggling with the decision, but there is a school on top right now. It could change, though, by Thursday.”
Prince has whittled his way through a litany of schools. Most of them have been dropped by him, though some have dropped him throughout the process. Prince is somewhat of an enigma with his size, point guard skills, but questionable shooting ability.
Prince noted the positive qualities of his two final schools.
“Vanderbilt is close to home, and I would have a chance to continue to build an already good program and be a key piece in that. I also have a good relationship with the coaching staff.
“Arizona has a high octane offense that is up and down and scores a lot of points where I would be playing with some great athletes. Also, Coach Olsen has gotten a lot of guards to the NBA, and that is the main goal.”
