Pressley lists top five

Three-star 2007 prospect Kyle Pressley has the size and shooting touch that catches the attention of college coaches. Already with an offer from a notable mid-major program, Pressley, a 6-foot-9, 215-pound power forward from Lutheran High School in Fort Wayne, Ind., is getting a healthy dose of high-major interest as well.

"My top five schools are Iowa, Notre Dame, Florida, Missouri and Connecticut," said Pressley, who has an offer from Valparaiso. "USC came to my game last Friday, and Iowa and Florida are supposed to come to a game soon."

After the season, Pressley intends to pay Iowa and Florida a visit as well.

"I want to take unofficial visits to Iowa and Florida after the season," he said. "I want to see if I like the coaching staffs. I'll also be checking to see if I will have a chance to play early and see if it is a good fit."

Although he shoots it well, Pressley is aware that he needs to improve his ball handling in order to play on the perimeter.

"I have a strong inside/outside presence," he said. "I can take a big guy outside and post a little guy. I'm working on improving my ball handling, and I'm also working on keeping a good attitude, which I have done a lot better job with this year."

Pressley is averaging 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks per game.
