Pressley is wide-open

Kyle Pressley will have a difficult decision to make when the time comes to select a school. The 6-foot-9, 215-pound power forward from Lutheran High School in Ft. Wayne, Ind., has just two scholarship offers at this time, but the three-star prospect is receiving a heavy amount of interest from some high-major programs.
"I am wide-open right now," said Pressley. "I don't have any leaders or favorites at this time. Iowa, Connecticut, Florida, Washington State, South Florida, Illinois and some other Big Ten schools are recruiting me hard. I have scholarship offers from IPFW and Valparaiso.

"I been to Iowa for an unofficial visit," he added. "I watched the football team play Ohio State. I really like Coach Steve Alford and the entire coaching staff. Iowa is a great school. I am going to take an unofficial visit to South Florida later on in the summer."
Until the time comes for Pressley to take a step forward in his recruitment, he will spend the rest of the spring and summer traveling with Indiana Elite. The three-star prospect has already traveled to events in Bloomington, Pittsburgh and Arkansas.
Pressley and his teammates will be in North Carolina this weekend for the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. However, once the AAU circuit is complete, Pressley will begin to take some official visits.
"I'm not sure if I will use all five official visits," he said. "I will take as many as it takes for me to make a decision. Iowa, South Florida and Connecticut are the schools that I would like to visit. I might take a visit to Florida, but I don't know if that will happen.
"I think that it would be a good idea to take all five official visits," he added. "It would give me the chance to compare each of the schools that I have visited. I will just see how things go and then decide from there."
