Pressley decides after visit

It didn't take long for Kyle Pressley to put an end to his recruitment. The 6-foot-9, 215-pound power forward from Lutheran High School in Fort Wayne, Ind., needed just one official visit to make a decision about his future. There was a time when the three-star prospect had planned to take several visits, but had a change of heart.
"I've actually committed to Wright State," said Pressley. "I took an official visit to Wright State last weekend, and the coaching staff came to my house for an in-home visit a week before my visit. My decision was easy because I love everything about Wright State.

"I love the coaching staff, the facilities, and my future teammates," he added. "The coaching staff feels that I have the ability to come in and play right away if I work hard. My relationship with the coaching staff made my decision so much easier. I knew that Wright State was the place for me during my visit."
Clemson, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Notre Dame, South Florida, Washington State, Kent, IUPUI, Southern California and Valparaiso are some of the Division I programs that expressed an interest in Pressley.
The three-star prospect had his eye on a number of schools in particular, but during his visit to Wright State, Pressley knew that it was time to make a decision.
"I was hoping to take some visits to Southern California, Miami-FL and South Florida, but I wasn't going to wait around," said Pressley. "I knew that if I decided to wait around for those schools that I might miss out on another great situation.
"I knew that Wright State was the best situation for me during my visit," he added. "The coaching staff did a great job recruiting me and they made me feel that they needed me. It's just a three hour drive for me, so I plan to take-in a couple of games this year."
