Prep PG Has A Couple Offers
Ramone Penny, a slippery 6'1'' 170 pound point guard from Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, via Minnesota, has three programs pursuing him hard this fall.
Penny has scholarship offers from American University, Towson, and has fielded serious interest from Brown. It remains to be seen how American's commitment from Virginia point guard Linas Lekivicius will impact Penny's recruitment. He will visit Brown officially next weekend.

Penny is a lead guard with good quickness and athleticism who just needs to be reined in a bit and play a bit more under control. Interestingly, Penny is the first player from the state of Minnesota to attend prep school.
Ramone is an accomplished student, carrying an A average. He has scored 910 on the SAT, and will take the test again this fall.
Penny will make a late decision.
