Prather set to choose

A choice between the Big Ten or the SEC is expected at any time this week from four-star wing Casey Prather of Jackson (Tenn.) North Side High School.
The 6-foot-5, 189-pound small forward is down to Michigan and Florida.

Here are his thoughts on Michigan:
"I like the coaching staff and the way they play," commented Prather. "I like the way they put an emphasis on their shooters and the plan they have for me coming in and playing right away."
Now on Florida:
"I like Coach Donovan and the coaching staff at Florida," he said. "I also like the players a lot. They are cool. I like the campus and the system and will be able to play early there also."
Prather did acknowledge that he has a good idea of where he is going to commit. It is also considered likely that Florida will be his ultimate choice.
Prather, who is the No. 64 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, most recently eliminated Clemson and Vanderbilt.
Casey Prather scouting report:
A strong athlete, Prather specializes at slashing to the basket and finishing at the rim. He is also dangerous in the open court both as a handler and finisher. Having spent most of his career as a low post player, Prather is in the process of extending his range as his jump shot continues to improve. On the other side of the ball, Prather is a versatile defender who more than adequately rebounds his position.
