Popoko Headed To New York
Mike Popoko, a 6-6 power forward from McDonogh High School in Owings Mills, MD, has committed to Stony Brook, according to Baltimore Select coach Jeff Bowden.
The Baltimore native also had an offer from Wagner and visited the NEC school on the October 12th weekend. He decided on Stony Brook following his visit there the following weekend.
"He likes his chances of getting lots of playing time and he also sees that he can get a great education from Stony Brook," Bowden said.
