Polk to Arizona State

Christian Polk has received heavy recruiting interest since he broke onto the national scene as a freshman. The recruiting efforts of Arizona State have paid off as the 6-foot-3, 170-pound combo guard from Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Ariz., has decided to stay in-state and play for the Sun Devils.
"I'm really excited for Christian," said Polk's AAU coach Earl Flaggs of the Arizona Magic. "Arizona State has always been there recruiting him. They developed a great relationship with his mother and father as well as with Christian. That's how the process is supposed to work.

"Christian is a great kid and is going to have a great career."
Polk is the No. 130 ranked player in the Rivals150.
Christian Polk scouting report
Polk is a little bit of a tweener between the two guard spots. He has the size for the shooting guard position, but both his handle and shoot need tightening up. A good athlete with length, Polk defends and rebounds well.
