Point guard picks Arizona State

Maybe the most important position in college basketball is point guard. If that's the case, then Herb Sendek's Arizona State Sun Devils are going to be in great shape over the next four years thanks to Jahii Carson's commitment.
During a Saturday visit to Tempe, the nation's 49th ranked player -- and possibly rising -- in the class of 2011 decided to end the suspense and commit to the Sun Devils.

"Yes, I just did it," said Carson via text message.
A 5-foot-10 floor general out of nearby Mesa (Ariz.) High, Carson might not be the biggest player at his position. However, Carson more than makes up for his lack of height with blazing quickness, explosive leaping ability and all-around top notch athleticism.
Capable of going on scoring binges from deep and at the rim, Carson will bring a new element to the Arizona State backcourt as they continue to try and play a more athletic and quick style of basketball down the road.
