Pocius Focused On Three Schools

Martynas Pocius, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard from the Holderness School in Plymouth, N.H., is ready to take a step forward in his recruitment. The Lithuanian native is scheduled to take three official visits during the month of October. Should everything go as expected; Pocius will likely put an end to his recruitment shortly after his third visit is completed.
“Martynas will visit Kansas during the weekend of October 15, Duke the weekend of October 22 and Arizona during the weekend of October 29,” The Holderness School Head Coach Jamie Gallagher said. “I am hoping that Martynas will be ready to make a decision after he is done taking all three visits, but if he feels that more visits need to take place, we will schedule more visits.”

Aside from the aforementioned schools, Pocius is also receiving interest from the likes of Texas, Utah, North Carolina and a few others. As it stands right now, it appears that Kansas, Duke and Arizona are the teams to beat.
“Things are finally starting to quiet down a little bit around here,” Coach Gallagher said. “There was a time when it got pretty hectic with Martynas and his recruitment, but the situation is finally becoming normal again. I can get back to coaching junior varsity football, and Martynas can get back to focusing on soccer.
“Like I said earlier, I really hope that Martynas is ready to decide after he is finished with these three visits,” he added. “I think there is a chance that he will be, but if not, we will take some more visits.”
