Plethora of schools evaluating Pane

The No. 90 ranked prospect in the class of 2007 Brockeith Pane has had a number of coaching staffs evaluate him this season at Carter High School in Dallas, Texas. Despite all the attention, Pane, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound point guard, has yet to formulate a school list.
"Right now I do not have a school list," said Pane. "I'll put one together at the end of the summer when I know more. I'm looking forward to having a big summer."

What Pane does know is that he has offers from Baylor, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Along with these four Texas schools, Illinois, Arizona State, Boston College, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and South Florida have all checked out Pane in action this season.
Averaging 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game this year, Payne has an advanced understanding of the game and is looking for a college program that will enhance his overall grasp of the game.
"I'm looking for a good coach, who runs a fast paced offense and preferably a tough man to man defense," he said. "My relationship with the coach will be a big factor in my decision.
"I want to work on my overall knowledge of the game. I still need to do a better job with time and situation. Developing all my skills is very important to me."
Brockeith Pane scouting report:
Pane is a physical point guard with strong leadership skills. Defends and rebounds his position well. Very good at getting into the lane and either finishing or distributing. The consistency of his outside jumper has room for improvement.
