Plenty of options for Beckham

Three-star prospect Antiquawn Beckham originally signed with IUPUI out of Louisville (Ky.) Ballard High School but opted for New Hampton (N.H.) Prep instead in hopes of raising his stock. Now a number of quality mid-major programs are pursuing the 6-foot-5, 185-pound combo guard.
Presently, Beckham lists offers from Bradley, Ohio, Louisiana-Monroe, Ball State, Wichita State, Northern Iowa, Creighton, Colorado State and Santa Clara. He is also receiving interest from VCU, Tulsa, UAB and Penn State, but is far from formulating an official school list.

"I'm still wide open and talking to any of the schools that want to recruit me," said Beckham. "I'm thinking about taking a couple visits in January or February, but I really don't have an idea who I will visit. I'm just not to that point yet.
At the National Prep Invitational in November, Beckham impressed with his physical play, scoring 18 points and controlling the perimeter play for his team. Most impressive was the way he handled the basketball for a player his size.
"I've always been a point guard in the past, so even if I am playing the wing because of my size, I can handle the ball," he said. "Point guard is the position I want to play in college, and that is the position that all the schools are recruiting me to play."
In New Hampton Prep's first eight games this season Beckham is averaging around 16 points per game and has registered one triple/double.
