Pitt Shying Away From Juco Guard
Zione White, an athletic 6-3, 180 pound combo guard from SW Missouri State/West Plains Junior College in West Plains, MO, didn't take an official visit to Pittsburgh last week as planned.
Our source tells us that while White is on track to get an associates degree from White Plains, two of those courses will not meet the Big East school's standards. White would need to retake those two courses for Pitt to be in the picture.

Russ Blake, from his JucoJunction.com site reported that Georgia, Western Kentucky and Wisconsin-Milwaukee were also recruiting the Spartanburg, SC native.
Meanwhile, Pitt remains in the mix for Fort Worth, TX's Lance Jackson who at this point is missing a qualifying test score (as reported by Jed Tai here earlier).
