NEW HAMPTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- Francisco Garcia was one energetic player tonight. He was also extremely happy.
The bouncy forward spoke to Louisville head coach Rick Pitino over the past 24 hours and gave his future boss the great news. Garcia had achieved a 910 on the SAT and will now be academically qualified for next season.

"I am so glad for him," said Winchendon head coach Mike Byrnes. "Francisco has worked very hard in the classroom. So I feel very good for him tonight."
Garcia has also improved his game while under Byrnes' guidance. Francisco is under control more and is one of the better passing forwards in the 2002 class. He will fit neatly into Pitino's style of play.
