"I feel real comfortable with the coaching staff, and Coach Turgeon has the program on the rise," Pinnock said. "They will probably finish in the top three in the conference this year, and next year will be even better with the nucleus of the team coming back."
"It's the best situation and I wanted to sign early so that I could have a stress free season," he concluded.
A native of McDonough, Ga., Pinnock distinguished himself on the travel circuit with the Worldwide Renegades program. He played particularly well at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions in North Carolina back in late May.
"I am a shooter and an athlete," Pinnock explained. "Coach Turgeon likes the way I run the floor and get off the floor."
Pinnock attended Eagles Landing H.S. in Georgia last year, but was ineligible to play due to grades. He transferred to Coastal Christian for his senior season to boost his academic credentials.
Rivalshoops.com plans on catching Coastal Christian in action next month at the War in the Shore Tournament in Delaware, so we will keep you posted of Pinnock's exploits this winter.
