Pinnock Changes Mind; Hes Open

J.R. Pinnock, an athletic 6-4, 200 pound swingman/shooting guard from Coastal Christian Academy in Virginia Beach, Va., who told reporter Russ Black a month ago that he was committed to Wichita State, has changed his mind.
"I am not going to sing this period and I am no longer committed to Wichita State," he said. "I am going to wait until April to sign."

Pinnock had officially visited Wichita State from Oct. 11-13.
A native of McDonough, Ga., Pinnock distinguished himself on the travel circuit with the Worldwide Renegades program. He played particularly well at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions in North Carolina back in late May.
Pinnock attended Eagles Landing H.S. in Georgia last year, but was ineligible to play due to grades. He transferred to Coastal Christian for his senior season to boost his academic credentials.
