Pickett officially on board

One question mark going into the early signing period has already been answered. After waffling just prior to the early signing period, Rico Pickett of Decatur (Ala.) High School signed his name to a letter-of-intent Wednesday morning.
Formerly committed to the Crimson Tide until just prior to the early signing period, Pickett, a 6-foot-4, 170-pound point guard, is back with the Alabama basketball program after signing this morning.

Pickett had expressed interest in visiting Florida State, Illinois and North Carolina State, but never made to any of those campuses.
The signing of Pickett, the No. 48 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, will push the Alabama recruiting class, which also includes four-star prospect Senario Hillman, into the top 25 recruiting classes.
Rico Pickett scouting report:
With a very nice combination of size and athleticism at the point guard position, Pickett is an unselfish set up man with good court vision. Good with either hand on the drive and the finish, he can score both at the basket and from the outside. He does tend to force things to the rim when he gets in the lane, though, and has plenty of room to improve as a defender.
