Philly Prep School Player Signs
Zakee Boyd, a 6-foot-5 swingman who prepped at Lutheran Christian Academy in Philadelphia, PA, has signed with Wright State, according to LCA coach Darryl Schofield.
Boyd had originally committed to Hartford this past October but didn't sign during the fall National Letter of Intent period and decided to open up his recruitment instead.

Boyd moves well to the basket and when his game is really cooking, can score points in bunches from the perimeter.
Other schools that the native New Jersey player loooked at included Hampton, UMass and Florida A&M. UMass remains in the hunt for teammate Maurice Maxwell, who committed to the Minutemen last month but has also re-opened his recuiting.
Boyd also played at St. Benedict's and St. Anthony's in the Garden State.
