Philly Point Guard Focused on Two

Philadelphia point guard Antoine Brown still lists several schools but has narrowed his focus on just two.
“I have narrowed it down to a couple schools- Georgia and St. Joe’s,” said Brown. “They were the first to come when no one else was looking at me. St. Joe’s was coming to my practices, and Georgia flew up to watch me.”

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound play maker from South High School lists Texas Tech, Connecticut, Rhode Island, LaSalle, Rider, and Maine as other schools of interest. Georgia, St. Joseph’s, and LaSalle are the only schools that have offered Brown.
Brown had more to say about his two favorites:
“I don’t know a lot about Georgia, but one thing I do know about them is that they have a good coaching staff.”
“I know a lot of players that went to St. Joe’s, and one thing about St. Joe’s is that they play defense before they play offense. I like that. Defense is probably the best part of my game, and it is the number one priority there. I also have played up there some, and the players have gotten better because of the coaching.”
Some time after the Oct. 11th SAT, Brown will schedule visits to Georgia and St. Joseph’s.
“Soon as I get my scores right, I will schedule visits,” he said. “Last time I took the SAT I got a 700 something. I need to get 820.”
