Mike O'Donnell, a 5-11, 160-pound guard from Largo High School in Largo, Florida, has decided to look elsewhere after first making a commitment to the Gators. "Florida wanted Mike to first prep next season and then perhaps take a redshirt year," said his father Dan. "But Mike doesn't feel comfortable doing that right now. So he will look at other schools."
Some of the schools that might look at this center include Ohio State, North Carolina State, and Butler. "Mike is open right now," said his dad. "North Carolina State is supposed to come down next week and watch him play."

Mike is a player who needs to add some pounds on his frame to be able to handle the tough physical play on the college level. But this is a problem that can be solved with weight training and more thump in his diet.
So this is a recruiting race worth watching over the next six months. We will keep you posted if any more schools decide to get involved in the recruiting process.
