Peterson liking Big Ten school

Once DeMatha senior Jeff Peterson decomitted from Princeton, teams in need of a point guard took notice. One Big Ten team got him on campus last week, and Peterson has that school at the top of his list.
"I liked it a lot," Peterson commented about his visit to Iowa. "The people down there were really nice, and I bonded with the coaches and players. The facilities were also nice. I was really impressed with everything."

Peterson, 6-foot and 185-pounds, also plans to visit Xavier after the season, but it will take a lot for the Musketeers or any other school to overcome Iowa.
"Iowa is way up there," he said. "They are my favorite. I definitely want to visit Xavier and possibly St. Louis. LaSalle and Tulane are also involved, and Illinois just recently called."
Peterson, who is averaging 13.5 points and seven assists per game, has quarterbacked DeMatha to a 26-5 record.
Not overwhelming in size or athleticism, Peterson is a heady player who brings a balanced mix of scoring and playmaking ability to the court.
