Peters Cline Sit For Game

When Butler County C.C. of Kansas took the floor on Saturday afternoon at the Jayhawk Shootout, there were two players conspicuously absent from the lineup.
The Grizzlies' two most important returnees from a year ago -- UNLV bound power forward James Peters and shooting guard Derek Cline -- did not dress for the game.

"It was a team discipline issue," Butler County Head Coach Dennis Helms said.
The Grizzlies could have used both players' talents on the floor, as Butler had tremendous offensive difficulties in a 78-61 loss to Johnson County.
Last season, Peters averaged roughly 13 points and six rebounds per game. The sharp-shooting Cline contributed 11 points per game. The Grizzlies will need both players this winter if they are to repeat last year's first place finish in the Jayhawk West.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on both players' progress this winter, so stay tuned.
