Pena finally has closure

Dago Pena, one of the few talented players still left on the 2008 recruiting board, has ended his recruitment.
The 6-foot-6 wing is headed to Marshall. Pena verbally committed to Donnie Jones's program on Friday.

"It's a great situation there. They have some playing time and that's what I was looking for," Pena said. "Coach Jones is a great coach and he's always been very nice to me. He's a basketball guy. When he was at Florida, he won two national championships and helped recruit some pros. The guy knows basketball."
Pena, a product of Charlotte High School, signed with Florida Atlantic in the fall but asked for a release when Rex Walters left for San Francisco. Pena said he was also considering South Carolina and George Mason.
"I'm looking forward to getting better and I'm happy that I found a place I can go to school for the next four years," he said.
