For a second consecutive day during the early signing period there was a shakeup in the 2011 national team recruiting rankings. The addition of five-star center Norvel Pelle to St. John's recruiting class pushes the Red Storm from No. 5 up to No. 2.
The only team ahead of St. John's is Kentucky who leads a total seven SEC teams in the rankings.
The ACC and Big East are neck and neck behind the SEC. Both conferences have four teams representing them. The ACC has the No. 3 and 4 teams in Duke and North Carolina while the Big East has the No. 2, 6 and 7 teams with St. John's, Syracuse and Louisville respectively.
The Big Ten, Big 12 and Pac-10 each have three teams in the rankings with one team representing each conference in the top 10.
Western Kentucky represents the Sun Belt as the only non-BCS team in the national rankings.
