Pegau favoring Big 12 school

Brazilian prospect Rodriquo Pegau had a strong showing in Triple Threat's deep run in the King James Classic. The 6-foot-7, 235-pound combo forward from Calverton (Md.) School has a favorite in the Big 12.
"A lot of schools are trying to recruit Rodriquo," said Triple Threat head coach Keith Stevens. "Arizona, Maryland, Georgetown to Florida have all contacted us about Rodriquo. But he really only has strong interest in Texas A&M. They are definitely his leader right now."

Texas A&M head coach Mark Turgeon and assistant coach Scott Spinelli have heavily recruited Pegau since they were at Wichita State and Pegua came to the States a year ago.
Coach Stevens spoke highly of Pegau's abilities.
"He can really shoot the ball," said Stevens. "He's a big energy guy and a big time athlete. He plays above the rim and also specializes in knocking down the corner three."
