Paulus To Take One More Visit

Junior standout point guard Greg Paulus, 6-foot, 180-pounds from Christian Brothers Academy in New York, will take one more visit before making a decision. Paulus, also considered a solid quarterback on the high school level, will take a trip to Notre Dame this Wednesday.
"I want to see how comfortable I feel at Notre Dame," Paulus said. "I already have been there once but I want to be sure about some things."

Paulus has been quick also to praise his trips to North Carolina, Duke, Xavier, and Syracuse. "They are all on my list," Paulus said. "They all have great schools both in the academics and athletics. It's going to be a tough decision. People say this is your second toughest decision after marriage."
Paulus had a solid spring and summer. He showed coaches he is one of the top players in the 2005 class. He might lose some style points with those who place numbers on recruits, but he is as good a pure point guard there is in the 2005 class.
"I want to get quicker and be more consistent with my shot," Paulus said. "You are always striving and working each day to make yourself a better player. I want to win too when I go to college. That's important."
After Paulus finishes up his visit to the Irish campus in South Bend, Indiana, he stated he will need some time before a decision is made. "I will probably take some time to think about it," he said. "But I want to make a decision before I go back to school."
Paulus goes back to school after Labor Day weekend. So if his gameplan works out, he could be through with his recruiting process in the next couple of weeks. "I couldn't say who I would pick right now," Paulus said. "They are all great schools with great coaches."
