Paulus Decides
Greg Paulus, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound point guard from Christian Brothers Academy in Manlius, N.Y., made a verbal commitment today to Duke. He also considered North Carolina, Syracuse, Notre Dame, and Xavier.
Paulus, an outstanding passer from the lead guard position, is one of the best players in the 2005 class. He won't be able to play for Duke until 2005-2006. Paulus entered his junior year this season.

Greg is also an outstanding quarterback. He plays the top offensive position on his high school team with skill and effectiveness in an offense that allows him to stretch his arm quite a bit. But basketball is his primary sport.
Paulus competed this summer at the NIKE camp but hurt his ankle halfway through the event in Indianapolis, Indiana. He did play later on in the summer.
