Patterson Resurfaces at Another JUCO

Aaron Patterson was one of the better freshmen a year ago on a very talented Barton County C.C. squad, and the 6-5, 220 pound power forward from Indianapolis, Ind., has resurfaced at another junior college this fall.
Patterson now attends St. Catharine J.C. in St. Catharine, Ky., but he was unable to play at this past weekend's Vincennes JUCO Jamboree due to disciplinary reasons.

According to St. Catharine Head Coach Kevin Burton, Patterson has been offered by Tennessee Tech. He also has interest from Eastern Illinois, Southern Illinois and Middle Tennessee State.
Patterson was swimming along quite well as a freshman last year at Barton County, where he started 17 of 22 games that he appeared in, averaging 9.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest. He shot right around 50 percent from the floor.
Following a postgame altercation last winter, Patterson was kicked off the team at Barton County. He stayed in school there and transferred to St. Catharine this fall.
Patterson is a blue collar power forward who loves to do the dirty work in the low post. He always gives an honest effort on the court, and as long as he can take care of his academic work this year at St. Catharine's, he should wind up on the Division I level this fall.
Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on Patterson's recruitment and situation in the months to come, so stay tuned.
